Hadrian Green is one of the more wild colors in the cottage core collection. Why? It looks wildly different base to base. Laurelhurst DK it's significantly more muted, Temporum it's a much deeper, moodier green. Here it's the perfect dusty teal-green.
Cormo DK is a limited edition base made of locally grown, milled, and dyed 100% Cormo wool yarn. The shepherd who grew it is retiring, liquidating her inventory, and we had the amazing opportunity to help her out and offer up a very limited edition, amazingly soft, "farm fresh" yarn to our customers. This yarn does contain some vegetable matter as it is “farm fresh” and has been minimally processed to retain the integrity and characteristics of home grown cormo wool. This yarn was also wound off by the yard, so weights skein to skein can vary up to 10g. Yardage should be consistent.
